Book Launches

Book launches are continuing.  The first, in Stone House Books Kilkenny, was a great success.  not because of the numbers attending, which were good, but because of the atmosphere.  Ir was lovely evening and from the moment I walked along the beautiful Kieran Street and saw my book displayed in such good company I knew it would be a special evening.

Martin Bridgeman from the local radio station, KCLR, did the honours at the launch and I am grateful to him for his kind and enthusiastic words.martin, kevin and lizThe photo above shows myself in between Martin and Liz, the owner of Stone House Books.  It was fantastic to be so encouraged by her in holding this launch in Kilkenny..  I love all the independent shops and feel we have to support them. On the same street there is Rollercoaster Records, one of the very best independent music retailers in Ireland and lots of family owned cafes.

The above view is taken from just beside Stone House books and gives a flavour of that wonderful part of beautiful place, Irelands smallest and loveliest City.

The next phase in promoting “Pools of Light” and making it available will be to prepare for on-line sales and an e-book version. Once the next two launches are held, Wexford on the 16th July and Duncannon on the 25th the way will be clear to work on those.  Be back then!

All are offered freely and it is my hope that you, dear reader, will gain something by browsing here and that I in turn will gain something by presenting these works to you.
