Thanks John, I worked very hard at this one so I appreciate that, I also believe it all to be true, unlike the lies they feed us!!! The images ar all my own, some family stuff from WW1, the youngest lady is my Irish Grandmother

And that they do, the bastards, their lies falling like beastly blossoms piling up around our swollen hearts. I love hearing the poem, but crave to see the words, the body of the piece. I always record my poems, and include the link under the poem; check it out http://bibliosity.blogspot.com/2013/05/the-scrivener.html

http://wp.me/p1x8WB-1F will take you to the written version. Yes, I had noticed how you presented a link from the written to the spoken and I confess I was intrigued by that. Food for thought there for the future, ps nice to meet you and your work, Kevin

thankyou !! poetically …I love the rhythm of the lines and the repetition…great …but of course more than that…being Irish myself…the agony that whether north or south and whichever foot you kick with…they always lie to us!! Great Kevin.

nice…particularly that last stanza…that the sadness lies in us always believing…and forgetting they always lie to us…you really work that repetition well in this one kevin…and you have an easy voice to listen to as well…smiles.

Beautifully read and the multimedia presentation works very well. The iterations were hypnotic and underlined the irony and sadness. Thanks so much for joining us.

I really enjoyed the combination of audio and visual mediums. You have a great reading voice: clear with a beautiful accent. The theme brought thoughts to mind of Orwell’s newspeak and airstrip one.
